EZ Tag, a subsidiary company of Group Techna has provided excellent customer service to the DC Department of Public Works (DPW) for the past four years. EZ Tag’s Parking Enforcement product has been very stable and has fully met expectations from DC/DPW Parking Services Administration. From a Support standpoint EZ Tag’s Analysts are always available to immediately address any ongoing operations issues that surface. It is a rare situation indeed when we do not immediately get to speak to a EZ Tag Support Analyst whenever we call the EZ Tag Support Line. Most issues are solved quickly and to our complete satisfaction. Whenever product enhancements or System upgrades are delivered EZ Tag takes the necessary steps to ensure that the changes are first thoroughly tested and deployed in a staggered & controlled manner in order to minimize the risk to our large Ongoing Operations of 300 Handheld Computers employing MES Ticketing Software.

Recently, we especially appreciated EZ Tag’s initiative to visit DPW and conduct an information session, with our Senior Management in attendance, to advise DPW of the latest technological innovations available in the Parking Enforcement arena. In summary, we highly value our relationship with EZ Tag and look forward to working closely with EZ Tag on future initiatives in order to both improve & maintain our Parking Enforcement Operation at peak levels of efficiency & feature rich content.

MES Command Center - TRACKING Enforcement Operations

As part of Groupe Techna’s Mobile Enforcement Solution (MES), Command Center is a records management system, designed to meet the needs of the public safety community by delivering information essential to making critical decisions. Command Center helps you manage all aspects of your enforcement program - tickets, asset tracking, vehicle towing, processing payments, look-ups, late notices and fees, and more. It is the foundation of a larger solution that helps streamline your enforcement management operations. When combined with our electronic citation issuance system, the result is a seamless, end-to-end solution. Extensive reports are provided that let administrators streamline operations and make sound management decisions for the future. This powerful tool is available to you at your desk. In fact, you can safely access, retrieve and manage information in your database via a standard Web browser.
Command Center is a comprehensive records management sytem. Queries can be performed based on one or more criteria. The system can also electronically transmit required data to the appropriate Court system for further processing, if required. Command Center also provides the user with a feature-rich graphical interface. The GUI reduces the number of steps required to perform functions within the system. This not only makes the Command Center easy to use, but also easy to learn. Extensive use of windows, pull-down menus, display buttons and icons help the user perform the tasks at hand.
Command Center is comprised of modules, each capturing a particular set of data, with information contained in each module available to other modules for cross referencing. Command Center is available as a complete package, or you can choose the modules that work best for your enforcement operations. Using our base modules as a foundation, you can add modules as your needs change.
Citations – Base Module
Record and maintain information relating to citations, including citation recipient data, vehicle information, charges, locations, dates, and fines. This module is useful when multiple citations are automatically linked to names and vehicles.
Assets – Base Module
Record and track the usage and maintenance of enforcement related equipment. Produce reports detailing equipment maintenance, usage, and associated maintenance costs.
Towing – Base Module
Record and track the usage and maintenance of enforcement related equipment. Produce reports detailing equipment maintenance, usage, and associated maintenance costs.
Payments Module
Enables ticket payment entry and tracking for all payment types. Create a true cash management system; it is easy, quick and secure. Import data from other institutions (i.e. banks) and automatically apply payments. One can process single or batch payments. End of day cash balance report.
Court Hearing & Appeal Module
Supports all functions and information related to the ticket appeal process. Schedule hearing, judge and time, post a disposition, process court fees and additional fines or credits.
DMV Module
A repository for cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc. Data tracked could be Vehicle Identification Number, License Plate Number, Make, Model, Year, distinguishing features, and other additional information.
Late Notices & Fees Module
Allows one to select, print and mail a notice to violators with outstanding tickets, with customized forms to confirm with department regulations. Notice types sent to violators, are automatically recorded. This module supports three types of notices with final notice stating that case has been given to collection agency.
